Dear Community Business Partner, United African Community Organization is partnering with area businesses to foster positive relationships with our members that will be mutually beneficial and enjoyable for all. The organization has begun a UACO Perks Plus Program with community businesses. We hope to establish another way for businesses to recognize UACO members as potential customers. As businesses support our members with offers of discounts for services or goods, we will list and communicate those businesses and offers to our members through our organization’s website www.uacoinfo.com, at UACO monthly general meetings and internet communications. Members will feel appreciated by the community, and businesses will benefit through additional exposure to our dedicated members. Becoming a partner is easy, it requires only a one time processing fee of $50. Businesses wanting to offer discounted services or goods to UACO members should do the following: • Offer an appreciable discount (recommend no less than 10% of total purchase). • Fax, mail or email the UACO Perks Plus Registration Form • Remember offer/discount applies to ALL UACO members. We ask that you join in this effort to build a stronger relationship between our business community and UACO. GuidelinesParticipating businesses must provide and adhere to the following: Provide a physical address. Provide contact information including name and phone number. Offer a real discount (i.e. 10% discount, $20 off, no processing fee, etc.). Discount must apply to all UACO members, not just board members. Registration forms must obtain approval from UACO coordinator before entering data onto membership list. Business must be legitimate as recognized by city, county and state law. Participating businesses must provide written notification to be removed from the list. Members must show valid UACO membership card to receive discount.
